Hi Holly,

How are you? I am fine. Today one of the kindergarteners smeared poo on the walls.

There are lots of Frence people at our school now. They don't talk to me much.

April and I are going to the Lakes district to go camping in half-term. That should be super.

Dear Holly,

Ciao from Florence! We are currently in a really modern, grooving (as you young people say) hostel which is generously providing us with free internet access. We spent the day in Sienna and took some photographs especially for you. April is missing you a lot (wishes you were here instead). We saw the statue of David not yesterday but the day before. He truly is an amazing specimen of a man. really took us aback. Saw the birth of venus in the flesh yesterday...so much art to soak up...really loving it here. Hope all is well back home.

Florence, huh? And Morocco too by now.
My loathing knows no bounds.
April wishes I was there instead? Well so do I.

All the art... STATUE OF DAVID and BIRTH OF VENUS. Makes me cry just thinking about it.

Home is as boring as ever. My half-yearlies just finished. Why can't that be it? I'm bored by this HSC thing. Now. Let it be over.

Take heaps of photos. So many that my envy will be overcome by boredom when I have to look at them all.
